Boning (dwelling)
We had the theme "Boning" (dwelling) in school (KV Konstskola, Gothenburg) and I choosed to work sculpurally,
and made this creature in its dwelling.
I was thinking of several meanings. It began with that I read a book about prostitution and how vulnerable the prostitutes are, by being looked at as bad persons and that feminists are against them and so on.
On the other hand it's about perfectionism, with the ladies on the wall that are watching the animal.
The colors are also symbolic. Yellow is sin, and at the same time something that is lightening. The floor is like a circus stage. The creature looks crouched and scared. It's red which symbolises vitality and potential.
